I will call you Aurea. It means gold? On the rough plains in England, the mare Darinde gives birth to a beautiful foal. The filly's coat shines like gold and her mane and tail are pure white. Life for the ponies on the plains is beautiful, but hard. Aurea is two years old when one day a lorry drives onto the plains. Her mother is frightened and warns Aurea. She knows what the arrival of the people means. 'Never forget where you come from,' she tells her daughter. 'You are a pony from the plains. Be proud of it!' Aurea is captured, together with a stable of other young ponies. This is the beginning of an exciting journey, from one stable to the next. Aurea makes new friends, such as the big brown stallion Winston, and gets to know the people up close. Some are very nice, but there also appear to be people who do not have good intentions towards ponies?/p>
